Professional 1RU rackmount audio monitoring unit for broadcast, live production and post-production environments. This original Blackmagic Audio Monitor combines built-in stereo monitoring, high-resolution level metering and video monitoring with professional analog, digital and SDI connectivity.
Use case: Real-time monitoring of embedded SDI audio, AES/EBU digital audio and analog stereo sources in broadcast and production workflows.
Video / SDI: 6G-SDI input with automatic SD, HD and Ultra HD switching; supports Ultra HD video up to 2160p30 and monitoring of up to 16 embedded SDI audio channels.
Audio inputs: Balanced analog stereo via 2 x XLR, 2-channel AES/EBU via XLR and stereo HiFi input via RCA.
Monitoring: Integrated stereo speaker system with dual-subwoofer design, front LCD video/status display, multicolor LED audio meters, headphone output and front-panel channel / input controls.
Video outputs: Reclocked SDI loop output plus HDMI 4K monitoring output for external displays.
Computer interface: USB 2.0 connection for configuration and firmware updates.
